Well, no luck tonight, I tried the Fn+D reset with no luck and pulling the CMOS battery also didn’t work. I did pick up another laptop tonight, so it looks like I’ll be working off this one until the Bios chip arrives from Taiwan unless someone else has some suggestions.

Thanks for confirming on the chip location, Moral Hazard

Unsure about the P750, but with my P870DM I was able to flash via a SOP8 clip connected to my raspberry Pi (which had the latest version of flashROM). The GPIO pins on the Pi provided the correct power to the bios chip without the need to desolder.

    Same with my P375SM.

Hummm, that sounds interesting. I have 2 raspberry PI's sitting here now. A 3 and a 4 and they are basically doing nothing. Can you point me to the info for that? Thanks.

As for mine. I just plug the power cord in to the laptop and flash using my SkyPro 2 or 3 which stores the info on microsd.

    You're not kidding!
I might have had issues with that. I was flashing about 100 times a day in the pursuit of bios/vbios unlocking.
Still, I may find time to give it a go. Tinkering is tinkering. :)

Although his updated tutorial uses the TL866 II Plus, which is what I already have, but rarely use now.

Thanks for the info @moral hazard .

Hello everyone. I have installed gtx 1070 graphics card in p750. It works for 30 seconds and turns off. There is no information on the video card model in the BIOS. Tried three other bios, without success. Please help.

Wow that's super brave. Should not be necessary should just be the original vbios and a .inf mod if the card is working . I personally installed the MSI larger gtx 1070 MXM in to my p751zm

If he does not see the temperature, then the panic mode turns on. 22 beeps and blinks, fans should spin as much as possible. At the moment there is no panic, with the panic mode the laptop works for about a minute or more.

This gtx 1070 works in hp 8740w, but the image is only on the external screen, as the internal lvds interface. The problem is with the p750zm itself, its BIOS refuses to work with the gtx 1070 (((

it will work may need a .inf mod . and only use the MSI GPU i think ..you may need to remove a M.2 connector
