I suck at this stuff apparently, I can't even find a screwdriver that fits nicely, can anyone recommend a good magnetic screwdriver?
I have tried accessing the slots under the keyboard but I am afraid of scratching/damaging anything, can anyone here help me out?

Perhaps call your reseller and ask them to walk you through it step by step since you are new at this?

I finally managed to do it
Thanks though

I mostly use the flat head Hex bit (flat on both ends and six corners, sorry i'm bad with screw driver terminology) to push it out. Does not leave any mark.i_pk_pjers_i likes this.

Just a word of advice, a friend of mine has the P750ZM followed the service manual advice; pushing something small through a hole on the underside.
Be extremely careful with this method as he managed to poke a hole straight through and into the keyboard itself, I forget what the object was now but nothing sharp but there's now a nice little pinprick hole on the back of the keyboard.
Through some miracle it didn't affect the backlighting or anything else. -

Those or a small torque screwdriver work well. The Philips isn't so bad when used on the keyboards that have a small plastic guard where you push the keyboard out, but on the few systems that don't use it, something flat or blunt is more ideal.randyre likes this.
