    Hi all,

I've been looking around and most P771dm reviews are with the GTX 980m, but Scan has the model:

    3XS LG17 Carbon Extreme G-Sync

This has a skylake i7 and a GTX980. Any thoughts on this laptop? Will cooling the GTX 980 be a problem with the P771dm cooling setup?

    This isn't the P771DM, it's either the P775DM or the P870DM.

Definitely interesting. I know this doesn't really contribute to the thread so I apologize, but could you let us know what happens with this and if you end up buying it?

The SCAN sales rep has made a typo on this or just got the model numbers mixed up. They don't have stock of the P870DM yet either so I expect he meant to say P775DM rather than P771DM. If you add the system to your shopping cart and go the the first checkout page, the list of components confirms that it is a P775DM-G chassis.

Doesn't look like stock will be landing before Christmas though.

Yes I'm sure, since the 771 doesn't have the necessary connectors to accommodate the 980.
