    Hi,

I've tried undervolting through the CCC but I do not like the software. I've tried through the bios setup and it won't give me a option to undervolt only add voltage. My current bios and EC are 1.05.01 and 1.050.2. I got my system through PCSpecialist so will my bios updates be from them or clevo itself?

Through them but the option has not been unlocked in the standard BIOS itself. It's something I have requested.

I've looked on their website for my system and there is literally no drivers to download. That's pretty poor. I'm using the Obsidian app which is great but I can't use that for my Bios as it's a different seller.

BIOS files are not offered openly due to the number of people bricking their machines.

I mainly wanted to check for an update for this problem with not being to undervolt at startup through the bios settings. They are not offering any drivers at all including Bios I'm going to contact them. So would you recommend not updating Bios?

Have you tried using ThrottleStop to undervolt?

You can add the program to run at startup via task scheduler and is very light on system resources.

I tried it yesterday it just seems like there are a lot of options and buttons etc I'd prefer a simple bios via undervolt. With more complicated programs I'd prefer to know what needed changing etc.

With TS all you need to do to undervolt is go into FIVR and change the CPU core and CPU cache offsets.

It does look very daunting but it's quite simple once you've had some time with it.

For BIOS undervolting you may need a Prema modded BIOS.

I'd be happy with a prema modded Bios over the stock as his work is excellent. I'll try again with TS and set it to run at startup.

TS would do the trick. 1.06.XX version comes with a default -100mV offset but I think it is only available for machines with kaby lake processors. One of the resellers can correct me if I'm wrong on that count.

    Get my APP
    Get Throttlestop
Move all files from the Throttlestop archive to my APP FOLDER / THROTTLESTOP (subfolder)
Open my APP and go to tab "CPU"
Hit Download to download our latest Throttlestop settings for your CPU
Hit APPLY to apply those settings
    Done.
