Hello everyone, i searched for this problem on this forum but i didn't find anything.
As title says i have a p775tm1-g with 8400 and 1070. The problem happens while playing a game:
after 5 to 10 minutes of heavy games playing and 20-30 minutes of old and less demanding games (like diablo 3) i get black screen but i can hear the audio and the fan are still going. With AC ODYSSEY cpu goes around 75 C and gpu 83-85 C so i don't think i'm having thermal problem. I'm out of option: i tried gpu undervolt, underclock both core and memory, every combination of the 3 but i'm out of ideas.
    What can cause this problem?

    GPU MOSFETs are overheating.
Re-seat the GPU heatsink, update the GPU driver and keep undervolting the GPU:

Thank you Prema, i actually applied thermal pads 1 month ago and only now i'm having this problem. I'm going to do everything again so to make sure i'll cover every mosfet and inductor of the gpu.

EDIT: i added some thermal pads on top of the one that's already over the MOSFETs and i think now it works. So apparently there was no contact between pads and heat spreader. regarding undervolt i actually tried it before and it crashed every time, but i suppose that was because of thermal pads. Anyway now 900mV 1860 Mhz 69 C on GPU. I think i can undervolt a little more or overclock a little, i'll try to refine those settings tomorrow. Thank you prema for your help
