As a title I would like to show you how to increase the frequency of my monitor!

This video isn't exactly new, but the process is still pretty much the same:
Obviously, you'll have to change the refresh rate instead of the resolution. -

Did you try on your display?
OK thank you for your support
The model of my display is: LG Philips LP173WF4-SPF1Last edited: Aug 11, 2017 -
Yes, with my previous laptop. Some LG IPS panel. I don't remember the exact model though. 60 Hz to 75 Hz. Worked fine over the course of about an year.
Higher settings (up to 100 Hz) worked, too, but the picture quality started to decline. -
So, according to you, should the screen be 75hz or take it to 100hz? Is there an appreciable difference?
-
It is pretty much trial and error and really depends on the screen. Only one way to find out.
Rule of thumb: If the picture quality deteriorates - even if it isn't obvious but just feels off - it isn't worth it. Don't start with 100 Hz but take small steps of maybe 5 Hz and see how far it goes.
