HI! I have the P870DM-G with the Dual Intel Wireless module.... at home, where I have an AC wireless router, all works fantastic, but.... at the office, where they have all Apple Airport bases, the wireless becomes unusable, just connecting to a network takes like 5 minutes, and then it gets an IP but there is no traffic of any kind, and it gets disconnected and connected again over and over.... with an error message on the logs that says something like "NDIS error, the network driver requested the hardware to be reinitialized, there will be an interruption of service during that time" this message repeats over and over every 30 seconds

Is my Wireless card allergic to Apple Airport bases??? Does anyone with this machine connecting succesfully to Apple wireless routers???

Actually downloaded a newer one from Intel website that is just a few days old. Have not tried yet at the office though. Will try again next week but was curious if someone else had this problem.

What version and from where? Please dont say from station drivers.

In fact I was having the same issue you described with the Killer AC1535 it was very unstable with certain routers but the Intel AC8260 would connect anywhere and rock stable

    here, from 3/17/2016 version 18.40.0

What do I not understand is the Airpline driver??? isnt that just the same as turning OFF the wifi card? I have problems when I use it (generally by mistake) and then I never get connected again... its like the thing goes into airplane mode, then goes off airplane mode but the Wifi card stays off and I have to go and manually turn it ON and it does not do it....

About the Airplane mode, will anyone even be able to use this on an Airplane? The counter wont be able to hold this this xD

But as far as Apple Airport Bases are concerned, i haven't faced that issue, my school has those and i was there last week for a presentation. All through out the 3 hours i was there, i did not have any disconnects. We even did some heavy file transferring over the network on WiFi.

Sometimes some networks are configured to use Auto Channels, and in most cases it just works. But sometimes you might need to fiddle around in the adapter settings to see which channel works the best for you. This might or might not help, but worth a shot.
