I warmly welcome. I have a 1080p 165Hz monitor. And I want to buy two identical monitors but I have two displayport ports and one HDMI 2.0. The situation is as follows. I get 165Hz on both ports, but only 144Hz on the HDMI. The question is quite simple. If three connected screens are connected, then I have to change refresh rate to 144 or there is an alternative for 3x165Hz? Notebook also has two usb c-type ports. I've seen on the internet usb-c -> displayport cables. But unfortunately I have never used them. I know that it is easy to check when buying such a cable and connecting it will certainly convince. But I would like to make sure the laptop can handle it. I know that three screens in 144 mode work because I have seen such video on the internet. As for the 165, I do not have this certainty.

The thunderbolt/usb type c ports can output display port too but they borrow the signals from the display port connectors. So the max you can have is two display port outs and one hdmi 2.0. it's likely a limitation of your monitor as hdmi 2.0 can do that refresh rate.
