Hello Everyone,
I am in need of some assistance. I just got my P870DM-G and had a 1060 that I plan on using until I get the funds for a single 1080, or SLI 1070. I was able to install the 1060 pretty easily, it boots and loads into windows without issue. When I modify the .INF and install the drivers, they install successfully, but the screen goes black, and I cannot get the display back unless I boot to safe mode, and uninstall the drivers. This is on a fresh installation of Windows 10. I tried both 417.35 and 417.22, both had the same issue.
I can hook it up to an external display via HDMI and it works fine, I was able to run a Firestrike run successfully.
I am not sure where to start, does this sound like a driver issue? Should I try more drivers? Could this be a vBIOS issue? Just looking for some guidance.
Thanks everyone

Known issue. You need compatible vBIOS for your card.

It does sound like a vbios HDCP type issue.

It is an MSI 1060

Does anyone have any other vBios that I can try out? I have tried G Sync and non G Sync vBios from an MSI laptop. I have been searching and haven’t found many other vBios’s to try. I have also tried several older drivers, I went as far back as 375 drivers, and same thing.
