Hello Everyone,
Just recently purchased my first Clevo and it will be here in a couple weeks.
I have a GTX 1060 for it currently, but would like to get either a 1080, or 1070 SLI, the 1070 SLI is straight forward, so this thread is not related to that possible upgrade.
I saw the thread using the Clevo GTX 1080, but am not knowledgeable enough with soldering to make the modifications necessary to make it work. There are too many form factors for the GTX 1080.
The ones I have been looking at are the Zotac model out of the Zbox, and the MSI model ( https://www.ebay.com/itm/Nvidia-GTX...h=item1eee531eca:g:BDIAAOSwanZb4tI-:rk:1:pf:0)
Have either of these been tested with this, or a similar system?

The Zotac GTX 1080 was tested in an Alienware M17x R4 by @Rengsey R. H. Jr. and you can find the forum link here - http://forum.notebookreview.com/threads/m17x-r4-with-gtx-1080-gddr5x-8gb.822707/
