Hi Guys
I thought I'd make this a separate thread so it doesn't disturb other posts on the owners lounge.
I have 7700k and I just recently got 2x16gb G.Skill Ripjaws SO-DIMM DDR4 PC24000/3000MHz CL16 sticks from different vendors. I'm unable to get them run at 3000Mhz though. XMP profile1 doesn't boot, XMP2 boots but BSOD on windows login. At 2400mhz passed memtest twice overnight with no errors, which indicates the stick are fine? Please tell me if I'm wrong.. I'm not too familiar with memory configurations so I was thinking, If you could suggest me some timings or tips how to get it run at 3000Mhz .
Timings, CPU settings, any sort of setting that should be turned off/on, anything that could affect the stability of the memory running at 3000Mhz.
I used this video to start fiddling with the settings and at some point the person says "just try random numbers" . I was thinking which one of these "numbers" affects the most to the stability.
I tried these, but no boot:

After the video I got it to boot with these.

However memory tests give me massive amount of errors like this: (I also tried memtest86+)
![]()
Any sort of help and thoughts would be appreciated from everyone more knowledgeable in these matters. I've always been a little confused with the memory timings and overclocking. How does it affect the CPU and does the CPU clocks affect the memory settings etc.
My CPU multipliers are 42/43/44/45 from TS, but in my bios there's and override 44/44/44/45 latest number being one core. TS should override the bios override.
I'm sure some other owners have dealt with this problem already, so some feedback from those would be nice.
Thanks in advance

Using alternate slots in each pair can improve compatibility so the first slot on the bottom and 2nd slot under the keyboard.

Please help.
Corsair Vengeance Series DDR4 SODIMM 3000MHz CL16 RAM timing needed please.
I got a total of 4 x 16GB=64GB on a P870KM1-G if this changes anything.
Its running at 2666Mhz default settings for now. -

Try making sure that tRAS >= tCAS + tRCD/tRP + tRTP.
(Greater than or equal to).
If you're having problems, increase the tRTP value and raise tRAS to match.
If you are unable to stabilize it, raise CAS value by 1.
