    Hello,
I'm new to the forum and would like to upgrade my p870tm-gs Notebook.
Got it from ebay and wanted to upgrade to a I9 9900K and a RTX 2080.

Since i dont know anything about bios updating and probably flashing i thought it would be better to ask around here. I havent found anything about this model supporting that kind of upgrade. I know that the P775TM1 is supporting it without flashing the bios.

I also would like to know the diffrence between the p870tm, p870tm1 and the p870tm-gs.
Would be nice if someone could help me with it, dont wanna rush it and brick the machine.

    thank you

Is this the same than the p870tm-R?
There is an owners lounge just for that model. I think those people should be able to help you with those questions. They'll have done this mod before if its possible, i'm sure.

The -r was a non official model done by one reseller with customised firmware etc.
