    Hey guys,

I am getting married and moving to a new place and wanted to revamp my desk a bit. Currently I come home and plug my laptop into a usb hub and plug my daisy-chained dell minitors in via mini displayport and off to the races. I started looking at possible streamlining this process by using a thunderbolt 3 usb c hub and putting everything on that one hub...

my first question is...is this a good idea and will it even utilize my 980m using this method? Also how large of a performance bottleneck would there be when gaming?

part of my intent for this would be to let my wife plug in her laptop and use my entire desk setup ezpz

    Thanks for any help!

edit - also will the display link daisy chaining even work from one of these hubs?

There are bios options to reroute the displayports to the thunderbolt ports so still driven by the GPU like normal with the usual features.
