I remember a list from March? April? where all CPUs were working on almost all the LGA1151 Clevos except the 12 threads

Flashed, G-Sync confirmed working now, and I can see the model in BIOS information KM-KM1 instead of TM1 in the old version.

Thanks for your kind efforts, I'll try to find any 8700k cpu to test it, now I'm still using the 7700K.
Can you add more unlocked options in this BIOS?
Can you customize the booting logo?

I'll do some testing and update, and if there is any special test could anyone needs me to do I'll be happy to do it.

Up to now the last version working fine with me no issues. It has very limited options for OC I can OC the CPU with basics things like undervolting, but still under testing. I'll update if I found any bugs.

How can I flash the EC? is it included with BIOS?

I would recommend not touching the EC unless you have some issues like power throttling out of nowhere etc.

BIOS flashing can be risky, 3rd party files can be more so. Have a method ready to recover your machine worst case and take a backup of your original.

Thanks sir, this is what I did exactly. I have the backup but I didn't use it, so I'm not sure if it's working. And I have a programmer for the worst case.
I hope that Sager can provide this kind of BIOS updates/Upgrades officially someday :)

Sir, I think there are many safe indirect ways and workarounds that can be done far away from $ntel sanction and agreements. And what we have here is one of them.

I didn't succeed to short the 2 pins with pencil, so I just isolate the 2 pins and left the other without shorting them.

Issue 1: No matter what you set for the CPU speed in the BIOS, it's only working @4.40 and the cash @4.10. I succeed to run CINEBENCH with reasonable score (1408) as attached, and the temp was good (84c) without any undervolting, with -60 undervolating I can see temp under 80c, all at default settings.

How can I force the CPU speed to run faster?

Is that 2 pins needs shorting is really important? how to do it with an easy way?

    Issue 2:
In the device manager only shows 8 threads, in the task manager performance monitor shows 12 threads.

    @Meaker@Sager @52571abc
I need some insight, at least I need to know if I stay using the CPU without shorting the 2 pins is there is any risks for the CPU or anything else?
If there is anyway I can short the 2 pins please advise. and why the speed is limited to 4.40Ghz? coz of that 2 pins or something related to the BIOS?
I still have a big jump from the i7 7700K almost 40% increased on CINEBENCH, with undervolting -100 the temps as you see are 70c max.

You don't need shorting 2 pins on cpu if the motherboard already recognised your 8086K cpu and boot normally.

DId you already try to overclock by intel xtu or throttleStop?

If yes and can't, the reply is missing/not converted acpi table from original bios

As you said, do you recommend me to try using the cpu even without the isolated 2 pins?
I didn't try OC by any tools. But inside the BIOS I set all cores to 5.0Ghz.

Issue 3: I found that the BIOS deal with the 6 cores cpu as only 4 cores as the picture shows
    12.jpg

And this is the BIOS information:

Now I can get the 5Ghz using ThrottleStop as below, but the temps get the 97c.

With ThrottleStop @4.70Ghz I got big increase in CINEBENCH (1537) and the temps at 80c max. I'm not an expert but I'm trying to tune the cpu as much as I can.

Regarding to the Pins (Isolated/Shorted) do I need that or not? The isolation is easy, but I almost damaged the cpu when I tried to short the 2 pins. Please advise,

No the isolated pins on cpu should be necessary to not burn motherboard.
The shorted pin on cpu is needed only in case the motherboard do not boot with modded bios alone.

Delid the CPU and use liquid metal to help but it is more cores.
