That they will be reworking the motherboard of the M860TU to make it compatible with the QX9300, and it is expected to be available in 2-3 weeks..![]()

they or Clevo is reworking the motherboard?
-
I wonder what mods are necessary to make the quad work.... -
higher motherboard voltage maybe? the power source has to be 200w+.
-
haven't them confirmed that since June?
-
No, Clevo has confirmed that it is not supported. But PCMW will be making their own adjustments..

PCMicroworks has been saying that they will get the quad cores to work since june. They also said they would be releasing the edge in june, then early july then late july. They have said alot of things that ended up being lies.
-
I'll believe this when I see it. Even then I will be skeptical.
-
didnt they also say they would have it running with a GTX too? man those guys at Pcmicroworks whatever they are on i want some.
-
I guess we should wait for Eurocom then, cause Eurocom is PCMW's supplier, isn't it? So it makes sense if Euorocom have it first, then PCMW follows. Didn't Eurocom support the quad in the NP926X before Sager?
Correct me if I'm wrong, thanks. -
nah, eurocom have no idea about this stuff. They took down the qx9300 after instability. Mark is testing the m860tu with the qx9300 soon, if anyone can cram that quad in , its K|N
PC Microworks Just Confirmed..
