Ordered a the 2090 lappy from PC Torque this Monday early AM. I received an email message from them giving me my order confirmation with my system config. I found out later that they had an error with their website and my order included those "free" items (OS, bluetooth, turbo memory...1st time in my life I had great timing with an order). So, I wanted to confirm my order with them to ensure I got the deal, 4 emails and two phone calls later, I still havent' heard back from them. CC still hasn't been charged, so I know the order hasn't gone through.
Does anyone have any experience with these guys? Its been a horrible customer relations experience and I'm really regretting cancelling an order with XOTIC PC (since I thought I had found a deal, I cancelled my XOTIC PC order). I even emailed them that I would state my situation on the forums (bad press), but still no answer.
Sorry, had to vent. Final lesson...stay away from PC Torque and stick with known commodities such as XOTIC and Powernotebooks.

The earliest they could have this in their shop is next week so it shouldn't surprise you they haven't charged your CC. I have no experience with them though I'd hope they'd honor a confirmed order. Let us know how it turns out.

I have read about good experiences with them, if you search in these forums you can find some info. Since you have the order confirmation I would think the ball is in their court, if they havent contacted you I would assume that they plan on honoring that price. But I know how the silence can be disconcerting. :)

You should just have asked xotic to match ;) !

Hopefully all will be sorted out :). I think they have a lot of orders coming in for this model and probably the holidays plays in the balance.

Ever since Adam and Luke disappeared and the company restarted, the service hasn't been the best.

I'd highly advice you to join notebookforums.com and send a PM directly to Charles @ PCT.

Went to notebook forums and many people are having the same issues. I sent a cancellation email and called my CC company to tell them my situation and not allow them to charge. Time to contact Justin!!!

Normally the situation with pricing errors on websites, is the company will still give you the item at that price. Assuming it's not too great. For example, Amazon had the wii priced at roughly 20 dollars at one point. I placed my order but got an email saying it was canceled. Another time bought a game that was suppose to be $50, but amazon had it at $40, I still got the game but the site was changed that day.

If it hadn't been that a bunch of people started placing their orders for the free stuff you might have gotten it at that price. I guess once word got out they were flooded with orders so they had to stop it.

But that's just my take on it.
