That is cheap. I bought mine for roughly the same price about two months ago, but I noticed that, unlike my reseller, PCMW is offering WUXGA Matte LCD. Does anyone know the model number and if it's any good?

i live in Ireland, but ill be getting delivery to canada. my Credit card is part of grifith college wich is a sister college to some famous university in USA

 

Why? It says all the PC Works systems are bluetooth enabled. The adapter just seems to be a superior bluetooth adapter. Maybe I'm wrong because it says 'no bluetooth' but that contradicts the statement written above that.

 

WAIT A MINUTE. $500 off that price?!?!?!? So the actual system would be ~1500 then? for this memorial day sale???? Or is the $500 off already in the price on the site?

 

Ohhh nevermind. The $500 off is already in their price. Which would make them kind of expensive during non-sales times.

Kind of sucks though that Xotic won't be back until Tuesday so we can't pricematch because by then this sale will be over.

there is no bluetooth installed from the email i got yesterday its optional... it will prob be standard from sager.. but other resellers just like on the 5793 / 570ru charge for it since they dont automatically put it in to start with

 

I really hope xotic offers a similar deal or something. I'm holding out for them, and if the m860tu is really expensive, ima be f***ing pissed.

 

@armagideontime, xotic pc always do price match. tell them to price match with PCMW if necessary.

 

Correct. A number of good vendors (including XoticPC, Rjtech, etc..) will price match.

Also Powernotebooks will price match other Sager resellers... so that is another option.

So going with either vendors is good.

 

But the plus for PCMW is there after sales diamond package services, now only if they uphold it which, based on their reseller rating, they do.

Something tells me with the responses in voicemail/email PCMW get on Tuesday they will possibly extend the sale for the Edge

They won't price match because there will be no price to price match. The sale ends after Monday and Xotic won't be in the office until Tuesday.

 

Why does it seem that no one is going for the extended 3yr warranty? i think its rather good as it includes a free bag, dead pixel cover, a laptop cooler and other things allong with it.

 

Dude, I went for it. If its one thing that always has me sold, its after sales relations. Some people see a warranty as if something were to go wrong with the parts of the system which they deem a very low chance of happening and thus a $400+ dollars wasted. In this case, this isn't just a warranty, this is a full customer relations package, and at a very good price.

 

I agree deathwinger. if I can cancel my pre-order if other prices is are comparable when they come out then I'll get the EDGE right now.
