Just got of the phone and got some "highly confidential" information

Apparently they recived SLI drivers from Nvidia this night and are testing them right now. If we're lucky we don't have to wait until late Feb to get SLI.

Well that depends on how they work out of course.. But they said that we might get some official information already next week :)

I'm installing vista 64 bit now. Crysis will be the first game to go on once that's done. I ran UT3 and Bioshock at max details 1920x1200 with zero slowdowns and more than playable frame rates yesterday. Time to have Crysis spoil my fun!

my laptop finally arrived today, it actually did, and no rip-offs

everything so far works extremely smooth and extremely quickly..just WOW

i have NO problems at all with my wireless, it worked like a charm

I also got an extra 200GB HDD space FREE !!! i guess it's b/c of the delay in the SLI but since that's arrived i guess those who get their system with SLI already installed won't get that freebie, but who knows, i was quite suprirsed at the amount of extras i got.

so far, every game i've tried works smooth at max rez, i'm on 64-bit windows, i look forward

maybe they re-doing the website to blast to the world they've got SLI ready to go :)...hope that's why

probably some new killer offers too...

i reckon NVIDIA released SLI which they had complted last year now because of the down turns in the market, i think it was a purely business decision to stall on SLI although they've had the technology ready to go on Laptops since last August... but the market unpredictable has thrown the planning astray, they'll stand to lose a fortune if ppl stop spending in 2-3 months time, so instead of stall till mid feb, they've released it

Exactly what I was thinking too. They were the first to announce the technology, lets wait and see. I'm so excited, I pick up the unit tomorrow, and SLI is almost here too!!! I can almost taste it!! lol :D

Arghhhh.. Got a Dead Pixel on my screen.. Wasnt noticed before, now that I see it cant take my eyes off it, Its actually hardly noticible and only visible against black... Is it worth the effort sending it back? Now that I started using it cant suffer waiting again..

Is iit like its gonna spread over the long term? I have no idea about this..
