    HI Guys

I've been trailing Clevo for a while now looking for my next notebook and I think that after much too much prevarication I've finally decided that battery life (hence Optimus) was more important to me than raw performance, I have a decent gaming desktop for that.

One of the most difficult issues for me was that although I'm from the UK I live 10 months of the year split between Thailand and India and so the question was where should I buy my Clevo from. What happens if I need warranty service, I'm only usually back in the UK for 2 months every summer which this year starts on the 1st August. It also meant I wanted somewhere that could build it and deliver it within 2 weeks so I can have a decent play with it before I leave for Asia again and with all the delays that have happened this year that seemed hard to guarantee.

For now it seems that PC Specialist UK have the best price, 748 GBP for the following spec which appears to be over 200 GBP cheaper than one of the other UK Clevo resellers. I would have liked to have the matte screen, only their 17" models have this option although maybe if I wait a bit it will appear for 15" models too.

The following delivery info from their website looks promising.

All this looks great but I haven't seen much chatter on NBR about them so I'm wondering if anybody has any experience they'ed like to share.
