Hi, I'm planning to buy a Sager laptop but the problem is I'm not living in the US and the shipping cost from Sager to here is ridiculously expensive ($3xx)

However, I did some research and found that there are package forwarding services available e.g. MyUS, BongoUS, Shipito, Viaddress, etc. with more affordable price (~ $150)

So my question is, have you guys ever use this kind of service? Which one? And what are your experiences?

    TIA,
    :D

I haven't used any of those personally, but I've heard good things about MyUS, largely from Australians.

Thank you both for your input... At least I know two of these services are OK :)

Willing to read more people's opinions on this.

Where do you live exactly? Probably you could buy from a Clevo reseller close to you, instead of having to import a Sager.

I'm from Thailand. Don't think there is a Sager reseller around here... The closest ones would be in Malaysia or Singapore but I checked out their site and they're too overpriced. Buying from US + shipping + VAT is still cheaper :(

Whoa, that's unexpected... I tried the calculator on MyUS for a Sager NP9150 shipped to Thailand:

    - billed weight 16 lbs
    - package size 21" x 11" x 18"

It cost like $135.34 for Standard account. Shipito was even cheaper IIRC (without any insurance though)

However, I'm still not very confident to have a $2000 laptop sent to people I don't know :\ That's why I need some feedback about these services from people who has really used them.
