After much researching, I'm pretty much set on a 9262 Quad 2.4GHz. Specs include 1x 8800GTX, 200GB/300 HD, 3GB DDR2, WLAN A/G/N. I'd love to splurge for more than the 1yr warranty, RAID1, and Tuner, but I'm held back by the very limited payment options. The lowest price I've found for this config is $2919 US, from RJTech, with free shipping.

My question is, are there any resellers that offer more than just cash/check/credit options? I saw that Sager itself offers a business lease, but I'm sure they charge an arm and leg for that service. Am I stuck with having to pay in full up front, or are there payment plans available? I've checked Xotic, Powernotebooks, RJTech, Sager, and PCTorque, to no avail. Thanks in advance!

You can go to Pay Pal and apply for buyer credit and then once approved use the funds for the purchase. There are some of us sellers that accept Pay Pal.

Another thing is you can take a look at this website and apply for a credit card that will provide 0% for up to 15 months. :)

Thanks, Justin. This will hopefully open up my options for which merchant to choose and warranty to buy. Basically the story is I need the computer now, but my student loan refund won't be coming through for a few months, at which point I'd pay in full. Does Xoticpc accept that Paypal option for the cash discount?

Yes we do accept Pay Pal. :) I am not aware of any companies that offer or fund their own financing.

Alienware does, but I'll be damned if I'm going to spend more for less there.

I'll bet the demand + profit margin just aren't enough to support it for most small resellers of custom Clevos -- hence all the cash discounts. Though you'd think some of the larger ones like Sager and Eurocom would be able to do it.

Well, what you could do is get a new credit card that offers a promotional period of time with promotional interest. For example, 0% APR for 6 -12 months. After you're done paying off the balance, just cancel the card.
