    Penryn in a Sager 5760?

    The new Intel processor sounds like a major technological advancement - more computing power while consuming fewer electrons. Any idea if one of these puppies can be dropped into the Sager 5760? My guess would be no - desktop socket vs notebook socket. Any idea when a drop-in Penryn will be available?

    I don't think Penyrn will ever be available for the NP5760 as it is the Napa platform. If Penyrn is indeed the next iteration of the Santa Rosa platform, it will be compatible with the NP5790.
