    could you undervolt the gpu when not boosted ?

    I'm using Arch but it doesn't really matter which distro you use. Disable everything you don't need and enable every power saving feature you can tolerate. This guide is worth following. I have also enabled Intel PSR with "i915.enable_psr=1".

    Using a lightweight DE (or no X at all if you're just typing notes) can save plenty of CPU time.

    I have not only ordered my sager tonight (np7330) but also am doing this petition because i know this is really important for me (travelling alot and having battery is awesome lol)

    With the W230SS it offers much better battery life. Usable 5 hours or so. Doesn't solve it for users of the W230ST, but they at least responded and improved it.
