Yes, both are worth it if your reseller offers them.

If the warranty is for one year, definitely worth it. If for 30 days, it's a little harder to justify. Either way, it protects you in the event of even a single dead pixel, wherever it's found.

As for delidding, what do you plan to do with the computer? Any OCing?

Most manufacturers have a pretty high threshold for considering a screen defective because of pixels, like 10-15 in some cases. That no comfort if you have one or two, so a pixel guarantee is nice to get that taken care of.

As for delidding, if it's offered and you're planning on overclocking then go for it. but it's not strictly necessary, and you can OC without delidding too.

So yes on pixel, maybe on delidding.

We decided to offer both from the start.
Mostly because the CPU actually makes a really good impact in temperatures and the pixels thing, well, i totally undestand the client side, if i get a stuck pixel i just can´t look anywhere else...

Most issues with screens happen during manufacturing or transport. So I don't see much of a point in the warranty past 30 days. If there are no issues in the first 30 days chances are there won't be any going forward.

That's usually true buy my P157SM-A actually developed 3 dead pixels over time. The replacement screen was and still is fine, though.

do the factory delidding through HIDevolution, that way you won't void your warranty. If you delid yourself, your warranty is void.

Yeah, that's true. It's like telling someone, "Don't think about elephants." Your eyes can't help but wander to that pixel.

Pixel warranty for 30 days, definitely yes because it will make sure that you will not get bad pixel screen to start with. The chances of developing a bad pixels later are much less.

Delidding, i dont think so because it is not mandatory in most cases and you will be fine running the system stock. And if you do require, you can always do it yourself. In old days it used to make big difference like 20-25 °C, with skylake you can expect 5-10°C improvement on average.
