    Pixelated video scaling with Flash Player 11.0 and up (due to Adobe and Enduro)

    Flash Player 11.0.1.152 and up do not detect my Intel HD driver and hardware acceleration is disabled which results in pixelated full screen video scaling.

    When dealing with previous AMD switchable graphics laptops you could manually switch to the AMD card and detection / hardware acceleration would be restored.

    However with the new Enduro dynamic switching tech this is no longer possible (adding iexplore.exe, firefox.exe and plugin-container.exe to run in High Performance mode does not help).

    Adobe needs to address this issue and include Intel HD drivers which have AMD version strings in their detection criteria (e.g. my Intel HD driver is listed as v8.951.6.0) which will restore hardware acceleration and thus provide smooth full screen video scaling.

    Until this problem is resolved I have to use Flash Player 10.3.183.11 which fixes the issue but is not ideal. You can download the Flash Player uninstaller here and Flash Player 10.3.183.11 IE here and non-IE here.

    EDIT: Flash Player 10.3 does have some bugs with hardware acceleration. Sometimes you experience a green blocky screen which can normally fixed by making the video full screen and small again. Also using the HTML5 player fixes the pixelated scaling issue on YouTube regardless.

    EDIT: 10.3 is just too buggy. Vimeo shows corrupted video when using hardware acceleration which doesn't correct itself when you maximise and minimise the video. Embedded YouTube video seem to have the same problem although the max-min trick works fine on the site itself. Might have to go back to 11.3 with pixelated full screen video I think :( Adobe really need to fix this on Intel HD switchable drivers.

    I have noticed this as well. I'll try out this fix.
    EDIT: It worked. Well done.

    This may be a problem that is never resolved, as Flash is almost at end of life...

    aaah, the goodness of switchable graphics. Right now, Im soo glad to have my 6990m as the only gpu without headaches and hiccups.
    Ive got the strangest feeling....since enduro is a disastrous fail, Im thinking of paying the ultimate price (gtx680).
    And I still ponder about msi gt70 and clevo p370em.
