I've seen couple of screen shots and videos of np8130 and noticed that the plastic material around both sides of the palm rest and touchpad become shiny (touchpad) and pale (plastic wears off?). Is this usual for np8130 laptops? By brothers have Dell xps15 and HP dv6 but theirs are like brand new since they are metal...

Plastic will wear, this is typical. Hopefully Sager will have a metal chassis in the future.

I would also like to know too. I've been using my current laptop for years and my hands kinda left a print on the plastic. Sucks that sometimes my palms will get sweaty too. Ehehe

I imagine like anything else (such as my old HP mouse)... A big gray spot! The NP8150 shouldn't have this problem, but you might have to worry about the rubber coating peeling

Maybe that should be worded as a question...has anyone had problems with the durability of the rubber coating on the 8150? The wear problem might sway me away from the 8130.
