anyone have any idea what might cause this??
also, the BSOD dump wasnt saved, like it was supposed to. does this mean it was a problem with the storage drive?

i found another guy who has this exact problem and his description is spot-on so ill just copy it from him
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hmm.. Okay..
1) I'm watching videos on youtube ( or any other streaming site )
2) Screen turns black for a few seconds (3 or so)
3) The video is just a green screen.
4) On the bottom left of my screen an error pops up: "Display Driver AMD has stopped responding and has succesfully recovered."
5) I watch another video after that.
6) BSOD Happens.
Don't think I can give you a more detailed version :/ -
Sounds like a VGA driver issue...you may try and update your driver to the latest:

I did a full reinstall of the vga drivers. ran driver sweeper etc
now the 'green screen' and the crashing stopped, but after prolonged surfing, the web browser starts to leave out content. theres missing pictures, missing text, etc
it comes and goes.. if i wait a bit it gets better. sometimes its very wacky. its weird
NBR looks like this when its really bad: -

cradle_emperor. download who crashed (in sig below) as this will always store a bsod dump report.
your above image looks like a broadband problem where it takes ages to load the full page.
try a broadband speed test to see what mb you are getting. -
I got it working. I have another thread here showing what i did in case anyone else has similar problems
http://forum.notebookreview.com/har...g-youtube-shows-green-screen.html#post8262852
in short, it was ATI drivers. and me being a bit dumb -
I'm glad it wasn't a 'The Ring' thing....where you got everybody here to watch a video, and then then all their computers started to crash!

I get thee issue, except i have a gtx 485m, so it isn't just an ATI issue thats for sure.
-
I get occasional BSOD. Its bugging since I leave a lot of tabs open since I am applying for a new job! I have the latest stable driver. I might do a clean install in a month or so.
Playing this youtube video BSODed my p150hm..
