    hey guys,

    I need some help!!!

I brought a NP5165 from XoticPC in Aug.

It has a i5-2410M, 4 gigs of RAM and a 500 Gig HDD.

It has stopped powering ON. When i try to power it ON it does not respond at all.
The AC adapter light glows when connected to the plug but when i connect its other end to the laptop, the light doesnt glow anymore.

I have tried powering it by removing and inserting the battery. and with no battery at all. It's not giving absolutely any response.
I'm surpised this happened completely out of the blue.

Can anyone help me as how to fix this problem..?

Huh, it wasn't dropped or anything right? Electronics are pretty strange at times, but a completely dead system for seemingly no reason really takes the cake. The light on the system doesn't even light up? Can a motherboard just randomly die? I can't really think of anything that would cause complete system failure all of a sudden.

hmmm.... Maybe try taking out the battery, and the power cable. Leave it off for 24 hours then try turning it on. idk if it will work, but it's worth a shot. :)

as mentioned its a difficult one.
take battery out and mains out and hold down power button for 10-15 seconds.
could be a dead psu that isnt charging so battery is also drained and then of course you wouldnt get any life in it.

have you ever cleaned your fans out as its 4 months old. shouldnt really need it but worth a look. build up of dust can auto shut off to protect it when it reaches danger point temps but strange it wont turn on again.

Maybe need to go as far as popping out the Bios battery and letting it sit for a while. I had a similar problem a month or so back and needed to replace my machine, something to do with a defective bios chipset.
