I need help to identify this card. I bought it on Ebay because it was $275. This is supposed to be a brand new Clevo GTX 675m. It showed up to the house wrapped in bubble wrap and stuffed in a envelope and still had thermal paste in places. Windows only sees it as a standard vga device. If install it with a modified .ini the Nvidia installer will see it and install it as a 675m.
hardware id is "PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_1212&SUBSYS_095D1462&REV_A1"
I have tried to look in up. I know "10ed" is Nvidia and "1212" is possibly the 675m but I cant find "095D.1462"
Also it does not run as good as I think it should. For example with my 670m I ran Crysis3 in high with very little problem with this 675m its not as smooth. Also this is in my MS-17625

bubble wrap and stuffed in an envelope? that doesnt sound too encouraging...
anyways, so as far as i understand, ure not sure if that card actually is a 675m, correct? easiest way to find out is to run gpu-z and check the specs of the card

I did that and it comes up as a 675m but I dont understand why it wont install properly. Also I wanted to make sure its not a flashed 580m
-
even if it was it wouldnt really matter, since those two cards are identical
so u successfully installed the modded nvidia drivers, have u run any benchmarks to check the performance? try 3dmark11, for instance, it should give u a score of around 3.2-3.6k in performance mode.
cheers -
The PCI-ID says its a MSI card, however, if you have it in a MSI laptop that could just be the laptop changing the devID to match that its a MSI. The Dev id of 1212 is a 675m. However without seeing the physical card (die included) we won't be able to conclusively tell you anything.

YES, what he says SUBSYS_095D1462 is usually patched in on the fly by the system BIOS. 095D is your notebook model and 1462 is the code for MSI.
You will have to dump the vBIOS or better take a snapshot of the card... -
Ok pulled the vbios and took pics of the card.
This is the vbios dumped with gpu-zCode:http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?zz5i96uawall7za
This is the best pics of the card I can get.
edit: After further investigating it all show as a 675m but I can not use Cuda cores and my option to run programs with a specific card is gone.
For example on one of the video editing software I use I can not run it in high performance mode and my cuda support is blocked. -
It's a GTX675M
It's a Clevo
It has the correct vBIOS for Clevo
Check your driver... :hi2: -
