    Hi All,

    I just got my Sager NP5790 from Xotic PC. It sure looks great.But I have a few problems that I would like you gusy to help me out with....I am so frustrated with Vista.

    I recently installed Farcry into my laptop....But there are many errors in the game..I believe that my 7950GTX is capable of running Farcry at everything maxed rite????

    I believe that it is because of Vista....i had 64 bit preintalled when i got the laptop.....but no software would work prpoerly on my system....so i installed Vista 32....then i was able to install farcry......but when i put everythin in Max i cant seee anything...the whole screen in white....like mist or something.....

    I have a copy of Xp that I would like to instally into my laptop.....I try to boot from the CD and install XP like i normaly used to before.....but when it comes to the "Press ENTER to setup XP option" I go into a section which reads " the hard drive cannot be found" why is that??? i partitioned my drive into 2 drives C and E .C contains Vista.........


    please if somebody could help me out...I want to get rid of vista for the time being and install XP.........

    please help me out.....what can i do.......is there something I am doing wrong.....Any help will be appreciated..........

    Your XP setup doesn't detect your hard drive because it's using ACHI operation. What you need to do is go into the bios (F2 during the splash screen) and then inside change the setting (I forget exactly what it's called) from ACHI to SATA. Once you do that, reboot and it should install XP without a problem.
