Can someone with the .a3 vbios dump the bios and upload it or pm me and email because several of us in the forums need it for the driver downclocking issue. If you have a 8800m gtx, use GPU-z check you VBIOS and if it ends in .a3 thats what we need . Thanks.
From Stoneyboy's Thread
how to dump your vbios. its easy.
Could someone with the newer VBIOS please dump with NiBiTor 3.7.
You can get this Tool at http://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/V...S-Editor.shtml (or google for another link).
Start NibiTor.
Choose Tools->Read BIOS -> Select Device.
Select your Card (Device: 060C unknown) and click OK.
Now choose Tools->Read BIOS -> Read into File and save the BIOS to disc.

Well i tried the flash and it came back with the message .. "no nvidia driver adapters found" . So the flash didnt work. I think it is becasue nibitor doesnt support our card yet, so the bios dump doesnt work right. hmmmm. Thanks for supplying the bios anyyone its much appreicated

Actually I had the same Nbitor error on my system. It doesn't work in Server 2008 x64 (and guessing Vista SP1 X64). To solve, simply boot from a WinPE CD and run the tool to dump your bios.

naticus - I wish there was something else I could suggest but I am out of ideas, but good luck and hope you find the solution with the help of other members in the forum, I know there are a lot of knowledgeable people here that will help you solve this nagging problem.

So far, there is 2 versions for 8800M GTX on Techpowerup VBIOS list...
The 62.92.19.00.A3 nVIDIA reference VBIOS is the older one listed, dated 2007-11-07. The other, 62.92.23.00.12, wich is nVIDIA reference too is dated 2007-12-03.
62.92.23.00.12 --> http://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/4968/NVIDIA.8800MGTX.512.071203.bin
62.92.19.00.A3 --> http://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/6371/NVIDIA.8800MGTX.512.071107.bin
Try the .12 version to see if the downclocking issues dissapear.

yeah but those vbios dont flash with nvflash, they dont work basically, ive tried several times.
-
The sub vendor IDs on these .bins are from Clevo(1558) so just flash then and enjoy.
-
Yeah I have renamed them with .rom and they still wouldnt work. It gave an error " no nvidia display adapters found". Maybe i flashed wrong but im sure i didnt as I tried on more than 4 occasions.
-
ive got 62.92.23.00.14
which version is that? -
I've tried the .12 to no avail, hey falcon any chance you could dump your bios and upload it? (using either NiBiTor or NVFlash)
-
To upload it just use GPU-Z ( http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/1031d/GPU-Z.0.1.9.exe) using the dumping - save to file feature:
