Hi guys, are there any good portable laptop chargers that will work well with Sager/Clevo laptops?

    Thanks!

There's not. The chargers don't supply enough voltage to the laptop that they need to keep the battery in good condition. So using something like that right now you would likely cause issues with your battery in the long run.

Ah I see, my initial search found me the JunoJumper Pro; thought it can work well. So for now, if we are to use our Sager/Clevo outside, we should be looking for power outlets instead?

Yes that would be the best way to go to ensure your laptop continues to function properly for years to come :)

I see... I thought I can really use a Sager/Clevo on the go like how people hook up tablets (and even other brands' laptops; saw a friend using an Energizer power bank with his Asus laptop) to power banks on the go lol. Thanks!

PS: Am I right to also say that buying a second battery for the current models is not possible too since they are fitted using screws?

That depends on the model. For example the P7xxXM models have an easily removable battery, while the P6xxXX models have an internal battery which is screwed to the chassis.

Yeah, systems that are less demanding can usually get away with universal/third party chargers just fine. There aren't many third party bricks that will work with current Clevo systems (if any).

The battery, though, like Samot mentioned, is another story. Some Clevos have a removable battery, some have the battery inside the chassis.

I could maybe see one of those battery banks being able to charge the computer when it is sleeping or off, but probably not really working while it is on.

Ah, since I am aiming for the more portable ones which are the P6xxXXes, the batteries are screwed to the laptops. Now I starting to see why P7xxXMs are popular, but their weight is too much for me though.

Whoa, I didn't realise that system performance can affect the usage of power banks (since every phone and tablet can use all sorts of power banks regardless of performance...)

I am somewhat ok with that approach but having to interrupt work for charging is kinda funny too...
