Sometimes, but only sometimes, my computer restarts, it just closes.
But sometimmes, i get the image distorted, pixel incorecty colored, pink pixel overall, image going blank and appearing again.

When this happenes, i need to shutdown to fix it.

I must say nothing was ever overcloked.

I think there is a prblem with the nvidia gpus. When i get this kind of error, i also get the message the display driver has stopped respondig and has recovered.

Will changing these cpus make the problem go away ?

If i can, i will try to make a picture or a video of the problem, when it happens again. But for now i can.t promise anything.

With an issue like that, I would suspect an issue with that video card as well. Have you tried reinstalling the most current video card drivers on the card to make sure it isn't just a driver issue?

Yes, i have the latest drivers.

Im thinking also that it might be a heat issue. How can i check the tempsof the gpus ?

The back of the laptop is againt the wall, but i do have about 15 cm untill he wall. Also, in the vecinity is also the power brick, wich emanates heat, and i also have the thing that goes in the power socket in the wall with multiple sockets of power. I will post a picture once i get home.

    Another question:
If i play a game that doesnt or cant use at all second gpu, if i deactivate sli, how much power will the second gpu still consume with sli off ?
And how much power does the second gpu consume with sli on, when i do play a game that cant make use of sli (such as eve online)

If it does indeed is a heat issue (unfortunatly i cant mount a heat dissipation unit, like i can in eve online), what can i do to make it better?

Perhaps strip the gpus, clean the dust, use a new thermal paste, etc....? What are my options ?
Would a notebook cooler help here ?

Notebook cooler might help, absolutely. If you're thinking it is heat-related, wouldn't be a bad idea to open up the laptop and get rid of any dust that is there.

Obligatory disassembly guide link, thanks to theriko

Also, not sure about the power states. I would assume turning off the SLI would mean that the second card isn't powered but I'm not 100% positive on that. I'll have to check with Sager tech support.
