    Possible Backlit for smaller Clevo Laptops in the near future?

    New to forums, but been lurking about the last month, researching for a future laptop.

    So I read the post in regards to the new P270WM, having back-lit keyboards.

    My question is will that pertain to the 15" laptops also? I might hold off on purchasing at least to the new year.

    Most likely it will be no earlier than April 2012 before Clevo releases a 15" model with a backlit keyboard. Sorry.

    I hope we get some news on the lager versions (I'll up 17" for that) soon, I would hate purchase now n month later backlit keys :)

    There was a video interview posted by someone a long time ago where a Clevo rep. was being interviewed, and in the background was a P150HM with a backlit keyboard. It sent these forums ablaze with rumor. Still no official word on it, however. Disappointing.

    However, babyhemi is likely correct about nothing new 'til April, as that is supposedly when Ivy Bridge (normal) launches. Good time to unveil it would be then.

    It was confirmed internally as an engineering sample for effect esp for the show

    There will be a backlit keyboard on the new series in April

    p270wm/3 will equip first and soon p150em p170em/3 will follow
    but dont know other gt555m/gt540m chassis......
