My work Lenovo has a power control software (which is extremely glitchy) that has the ability to set a maximum charge level for laptops that are constantly plugged in. Is there a way to do this with Hotkey Control on my Sager? Is it necessary to do this for a laptop that is constantly plugged in? I read that it wasn't and would like to know if I should be unplugging it or not. If its not possible with hotkey is there a software out there that can do this or is this not possible because of hardware limitations? Thanks in advance.
Edit: The lenovo software calls this conservation mode, maybe windows 8.1 has something in there for this?

There is no user control on battery charging except for plugging it in or not. The EC will manage it correctly, keep it plugged in and don't leave the laptop in environmental extremes (backseat of a car on a sunny day) and the battery should last fine.

No need to unplug it while your stationary. It won't overcharge the battery.

Awesome ok thanks. Yeah sits under my tv in a nice shady spot inside of A/C house so should be fine on extremes. Thanks for both of your responses.
