What are the chances of a slim bezel coming out? I'm thinking something like the gigabyte aero 15 or xps 15. Would like a screen of a 15.6inch but in the chassis of a 14inch.

    Smaller bezel = smaller base.

Most machines need that space for decent options and cooling. If you take the base and try and fit a larger display then you run into non standard display sourcing issues (and performance options).

I mean the gigabyte aero 15x seems to be able to do it and the xps 15. What makes them so special?
