Those are excelent results for a laptop. And you only have the 2.0 GHz CPU. If I had your 8800M GTX...mmm mmm :D

    yo naticus.

did you install the graphics patch for res 4pc?

i heard that the game was based on the ps2 version not the graphiclly superior gamecube.

I believe the patch improves the pc game to GC quality

So are there ever going to be new drivers that supports the 8800m GTX? The 64bit 171.16 and 169.61 just came out so I'm going try those soon, but I doubt they'll work.I really want an increase in performance as you can see.

yeah i have the 1.1.o patch that fixes the textures and also downloaded the Hi-res texture pack (~1gb), and the HD Bloom effect. I also have a pofile set up in nvidia conttrol panel with 16xAF, 4XAA, AA transparency. This game is capped at 30 fps but with all the mods and stuff the game looks much better.

More Gears of War, all maxed, vsync on, dx10 on, 1440x900. This game is so freaking fun. I played it on the 360 but it is much, much better on the PC and looks about 1.5-2x better, WOW!

with shipping, 5% discount, and the -131$ for 1440x900 glossy, and no os it was 1776$ us from Eurocom.com. Though I noticed for the exact machine now is about 45$ more for some reason.

Very nice. The real test will be Farcry 2 but hopefully it will run better than Crysis.

How dare you dis bio shock it's pretty much the best game besides Crysis, show some shots near monsters I want ot see the FPS then, and show some water shots too.
I don't care for the natural mod on crysis I like the standard look the most.

Has anyone tried running Crysis at WUXGA native res on high?. I imagine the framerate would drop quite considerably.

when I was using all high, dx9, 1440x900 i would still get the occasional drop to 18 fps during really intense action with many explosions, but i would also get about 35-42 fps in the jungle areas. With the natural mod (i havent tried 2.0.2 yet) i stay at around 27-35.

ROFLMAO. If you think that WOW is a good way to tell if your comp is the best then you are simply foolish... even at the highest res with the highest settings it doesn't even come CLOSE to what it takes to play Crysis. I could play WoW on medium settings with an NVidia 6100 GS. HAHA.

I read that Natural mod reduces the texture quality a bit. It can be seen there but still it´s impressive for a notebook :) Will be nice to see how this game will run with my 8800m GTX SLI when they arrive.
