Just wondering... where can you configure it? It's neither on Sager's or Clevo's website.

You can configure on PowerNotebooks.com or XOTICPC.com

Clevo does not sell to end users.

Opinions welcome for suggested changes.. I tried to get a good mix of power, battery life and in the case of ram.. upgradeability.

Due to points raised in somebody elses post.. I am questioning if the 2GB Intel® Robson Turbo Memory II will be useful/worth it in a build like this.

Is anyone going to get the HD3870? It's a nice price savings for a not a lot in terms of a performance hit (at least according to notebookcheck, and assuming 8800m = 9800m gt in all cases).

of all places xoticpc offer the best price, and i was kinda surprise  that i was able to the the T9600 under 3k ... my budget is $2800 BTW. Now my question is whether or not should i get the BLu Ray option optical drive since i want my notebook book to be future proof... But it will be over my OWN budget, and i have to let my sister loan me some bucks for it :( .. What do you guys think??

Sorry, im kinda new in posting, i have only been lurking this places a few months and waiting for the Clevo M860TU to come out :)

The reason i get a low HD and RAM is because of i will be upgrading it myself since i have already bought a 500GB HD and 2GB stick RAM DDR3. Yes i have the items for a very long time just for this special notebook :) and i always wanted a 1TB external :D

p/s: I was wondering what is the brand of the external 1TB? the enclosure brand if anyone know?

I'm realllyyy hoping my dad will let me get this laptop, it's for school and he said his budget was around a thousand, I'm hoping he'll let me go out of the budget if I pay the difference.

I'll probably get everything standard (maybe the 2.4 ghz...but to be honest a 2.2 is probably good enough, CPU speed isn't all that necessary for games), get the 9800M GT, and Vista Home Premium.

If I get one stick of 2gb I can always upgrade that any way...I can always upgrade the HDD, and CPU so I'm good on that too.
