This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     I think it would be nice to get an overview over which 8800 gtx drivers people are using. The idea is to post laptop number, card configuration, OS, driver number and 3dmark06 score, together with issues this driver (seems) to have.

    Mine:

    Computer: 5793 from xotic
    Card: single 8800 gtx
    OS: Vista Home Premium 64 bit
    Driver: 167.44
    3dmark06: 9100

    Issues:
    1) Bluescreen upon opening Nvidia Monitor
    2) Unable to overclock with nTune
