I am a hardcore 10 year Linux desktop user, and although the specs are high for that OS I would like to leave my options open for gaming on a Windows partition. Also, I have only used NVidia cards so I have reservations regarding AMD cards...but the price is reasonable. I don't NEED to buy a laptop this year and unless I am misunderstanding the next generation specs, I really don't want illuminated keyboards or power saving if I have to use a lesser graphics card. I would like to see all USB3 ports, HDMI-IN and a full-size keyboard though. Any suggestions welcome, as I am still fine-tuning, such as potentially leaving out the DVD player (savings ???), as I mostly use flash sticks, and a 80 gb SSD drive would be sufficient, IF it has Sata 3.

I know you can't use the 120hz screen with the 6990m.

Thanks, that's why I needed input... :) Narrows it down to NVIdia card selections.
