    So does anyone know the power consumption for the 8700GT vs the 7950GT? I don't see the information on the nVidia website.

    the 8700M GT uses about 35w

    the 7950GTX uses near 60w

    I've been trying to search for NP5790 review/benchmarks with the 8700GT. I'm not having much luck with the site search engine. Any leads welcome.
