How do I turn it on to get maximum battery life? I have a 5793.

-
right click on desktop ->Properties ->screen saver -> power... -> you know what to do
-
Do the power schemes change anything besides shut-off times? Does it underclock and such?
-
it downclocks both CPU and GPU
-
And what modes do you switch between to get max performance (on AC) and max batt life (off AC)

To gain more battery life , I sugest Undervolting the CPU : http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=235824
and this guide also : http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=91846 -
Thanks. But also, what modes?

What do you mean ?

I have a similar question but want to go the OPPOSITE way. Is there a way to stop XP from downclocking the CPU & GPU when the laptop is unplugged?

The_Observer 9262 is the best:)
In the battery options put it to maximum power.
