Can you use a new power supply from a P151SM1 on an old Clevo from two years ago? I seem to have misplaced the old power supply and need to fetch some files off of it. The old one is in my signature.

    Yes.

There have been times that I ran my NP8662 on my NP8130's PSU to no ill effect. The P151SM1 and the P151HM1 share a 120w PSU made by Li Shin (among others), so you should be fine.

As long as voltage and power connector match then yes, just make sure it has the proper amount of amps to drive the system. I.E. don't use a 120W brick with a 180W system, well at least unless you just plan on using it for browsing and whatnot.
