    The question I have for this forum is for SLI mode they recommend two 230 W supplies with their adapter to create a 460 W supply. Because of my many uses on the road I have a need to a 330 W to run in single gpu mode. But do not have room to carry two 230 W and a 330 W, TSA already hates me.
    Here is the question: Is anyone running this setup with a 230 W and 330 W with the connector for powering SLI mode?
    Does anyone know if this can be done?

    thanks for any help
    David

    The chip in the combiner needs the supplies to be matched for proper operation.

    One 330 pcu will operate at 400 easily bit shuts down at 440 watts from the wall. Is there any reports of the power draw from this dm2 spec model?

    For dual 1070s a single 330W could easily go out of spec.

    I am looking at three scenarios (wishfully hoping);
    1) single gpu, minimal load running off one 230 W, this been confirmed to work. this is limited computer load and will be for inverted vehicle access
    2) single GPU on a 330 W, which will work h a 1070, that what is speced by the manufacturer
    3) SLI, two adapters one 230 and 1 330, this is what is unknown

    The first post claims no.

    Mark@sager, I assume this will not work or will it damage something inside?

    thanks
    Dave
