    I have a m570u with a quadro fx2500m.
I'm using the nvidia drivers from the clevo website:

nVIDIA VGA driver for Windows XP (without DirectX files), to support G71GLM-UU VGA card
    8.6.1.4 25020 2006/11/2

The problem I have is that setting powermizer to performance makes the small noisy fan run non-stop with an annoying high pitch.
Setting powermizer to balanced or low produces a worm farm full of artefacting and dropped frames. 2cm long wiggly artefacts even appear all over the desktop with no running programs.

The computer is completely cleaned out and dust free and running on a notebook cooler.

So I can either have a noisy computer or an unreadable one.
I imagine that there is a better driver available, but can't find anything on nvidia's site or clevo's site.
    Any help appreciated!!!
    Thank you
