Yeah you'd be much better off canceling and ordering from Xotic for the better warranty, price and customer support, not to mention the TV tuner you wanted. TurboMemory is failed crap. Period. Especially under the condition eleron just mentioned (>2GB RAM).

Turbo Memory 2.0 is supose to help, but that`s not available yet.
You can get neither, and get a USB tv tuner, and keep the PCI slot for something else, maybe the improved turbo memory or some other fancy gadget.

good move get that tv tuner in

and as for small built in antennas well, the reception in the uk with anything but a huge on the roof affair, its pretty awful

hang in there for downloadable tv instead :)

I think a lot of the plug in usb tuners have optinal aerials but probably arent very good without them

Nawtheph! Wassup ? :D Anyway, there were a lot of delays with the payment.... banks being closed for a long time on the occasion of national holidays... etc etc. It's gonna take a while for the laptop to arrive. I'm sure to post pics and stuff then! :D Maybe even an unboxing video ;)

Ahh, delays are never fun. An old boss of mine is out here doing some contracting work, he came to me with advice on what to get for a notebook, I sold him on a 5793. I think he enjoyed ordering it in front of me, getting the specs I want knowing I won't be ordering mine for a couple months. Btw, he went through xotic :)
