    Hi There!

Well I guess it's time to move on - possibly. IT security at work has tighten his grip and it looks I won't be able to work with my machine anymore. Plus I got to face the fact I don't game anymore because I just don't have the time. I'm gonna go more portable or even ultra-portable I guess...

So the Clevo gurus out there, can you estimate how much this would worth?

Eurocom m570u aka Sager 5760 also know as Aviator CX-7 from Hypersonic
Silver with Tinted Brushed Aluminum Cover
    1.83GHz Intel® Core Duo Processor T2400 / 2MB Cache / 667MHz FSB
    2GB RAM
    Nvidia GeForce Go 7900 GTX PCI-Express 256MB GDDR3
Built-in TV Tuner with Remote Control
    100GB 7200rpm Serial-ATA Hard Drive with NCQ & 8MB Cache
8X DVD ± R/W Drive Dual Layer w/ DVD Recording Software
17" WUXGA 1920x1200 w/ Super Clear Glossy Surface
    Internal 802.11N Intel4965AGN - My upgrade (I added antennas and I connect @ 130mbps)
    Internal Bluetooth™ Module
    Integrated V.92 56K Fax/Data Modem
    2 110V/220V Autoswitch AC Adapter
    Eurocom luxury Case

    Additional accessories
    1. Secondary battery, so you get about 3 hours on 2 batteries (160$)
    2. 2nd HDD bracket, if you want to put 2 HDDs (with no ODD though) (25$)
    3. I could make a hot deal out of my Booq BOA backpack ;-)

So all in all you get a still hot, fully configured gaming rig, with lot of options, with another 18months warranty left.

So the thing was bought June '06 and has a 3 years full on-site warranty plan - Since ATS is out of business, Eurocom as always managed to pay both ways for shipping and has always been damn quick sending replacements. So it was bought from Eurocom and their service is top notch. I have all the original boxes/docs/cds. There was no Windows installed.

The thing is in perfect condition and has been well taken care of. Motherboard has been replaced (because of a problem with the secondary HDD SATA port).

I'll try to post a pic soon. Just consider it as new.

So before I go into the B/S/T subforums, what could I get from this? 1700$?

With all accessories and stuff I still get it to 2500$cdn on Eurocom's website.

Oh yeah the keyboard is a canadian french qwerty, but this is easily replaced with a US keyboard.

If someone is interested please PM me - I am still only thinking about selling but if someone shows interest this could speed up things.

I would prefer shipping it to Canada with Puro, but as long as buyer pays
shipping I can send to the US.

The secondary battery is for the ODD bay correct? Not a replacement main battery?

I was following and reading up on your 4965 wireless install and was wondering how you got it to work in the end. By using an Intel Wireless "N" router? Also, what kind of TV-tuner do you have installed?

Correct. By putting the secondary battery you get power from 2 batteries, giving you about 1 more hour.

As for the 4965AGN, I bought a set of antennas on ebay and stuck them underneath the cover. It must work, because I now connect @ 130mps with 2 antennas. No 300mps though, but 130 was ok with me. The router I am using is the D-Link extreme N (the white one) and it's a superb router.

The TV tuner is unfortunately the only one that was available at that time, and that is the lifeview DVB-T tuner. Though it won't capture any digital signal here in N.A, there are no problems for CATV and analog over the air (if you can find one). it just do the job, but wouldn't probably buy it again. I just wanted a fully loaded machine :).

OMG I've read your other thread about your dead pixel, but man you're talking like eurocom only ships LCDs with dead pixels  . Please. When I ordered I just asked if it was possible they check for a perfect panel. They did and I got a perfect one. You should consider yourself lucky if they are willing to send you a 3rd panel for ONE pixel. Damn. .

Plus keep your whining in your other thread and don't hijack mine.
