So, I got this notebook in November 08 and all was great, but the other day I unplugged it and bam power dies. I try to power it up and no go, I plug it back in boots up fine and battery checks 100% charge. I unplug it and there it goes again. I am reading it could be a bad battery but its 4months old and its a ProStar I dont run it on battery power that often for obvious reasons. The other thing I read is the motherboard could be the problem. Is there anything else I am deployed in Iraq and would hope its something small I can do myself any suggestions? I know the battery life is limited, but its still nice to have especially when they kill the generators out here at least once a week where we live.
