Hey guys! It's been a while since I made a post on here but I'm in need of some help!

I recently bought Mass Effect 2 and installed it. My problem is that when I try to click play, all I get is a blank screen and jumpy sound, then my screen freezes and I have to use task manager to end the process... Here's something I noticed. The first time I tried to press play, it gave me a message saying that my display adapter may not be supported or something like that. So I went into the config settings and tried to change the GPU from Intel 4000 to AMD 7970M. Problem is, it wouldn't give me that choice. Only the Intel 4000 can be selected. So then I went into my CCC and tried to set all the EXEs to "High Performance" so they would use my 7970. That didn't work either... I also tried the newest drivers for ME2 and that didn't fix the problem.

Any help you guys could give me would be awesome! Thanks so much!

I don't have issue with any UE3 game other than Borderlands 2 and the terrible physx.

Ya man.. I honestly don't know what the heck is wrong. I have other games that I had to set to High Performance and it fixed the problem. Anyone else have any ideas? Maybe let me know what files you guys have set to High Performance to get ME2 to work? I might have missed one.

I never tried this and I think kombuster handles on and off of 7970m more gracefully than the game
