    Could be a failing ram problem. Try running memtest (google it free program).

    This happens to me sometimes when I restart the computer with something plugged in any of the usb ports..

    Try one time and wait, up to 20 min, and see if windows eventually comes on.. Then you could also look in the error log file to see whats going on..

    There has been some threads about the usb problem..

    I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with your Sager NP9262, I had similar issues as you, but I had no beeping when I tried turning it on, only the Caps Lock, Scroll Lock and Num Lock lights flashing at the same time, and the laptop would turn itself off after around 1 minute later, this did not happen if I turned the fans at Full Speed by pressing FN+1, but the laptop would not even POST anyway, tried swapping RAM, disconnecting from AC Power, picking the battery out, etc... currently, and I was told it would be a motherboard failure, I am sending it for repairs to Sager.

    Good Luck on getting your laptops' issues fixed, bperry and psycro.

    hmm I just restart mine and all is good. At least for now. That 30 day window is shrinking fast I may just send this thing back after all.

    I'm a soldier over seas at the moment so it makes it kinda difficult to be able to decide on laptops(especially when you dont know jack) to buy and I wanted one for gaming, well Im gettin the NP2096 i think it is and if you've ever played the Americas army game then you know that takes up alot of space, so im wondering if the laptop will be able to support that game and other games fairly decently...

    Space is not a problem. You can get now 500 GB hdds. In order to see if the game would run properly you need to check the min configuration needed for the game to run and then see what kind of hardware you can get on NP2096.

    These are the minimum requirements for the game:

    3. WHAT ARE THE MINIMUM SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS FOR THE WINDOWS 2.8.5 VERSION?

    Answer:
    The minimum system requirements for the game are:

    * 3-D graphics card with 128mb memory and support for hardware
    transformation and lighting
    * 2.4 GHz processor or equivalent
    * English version of Windows(r) 2000/XP/Vista Operating System with all updates
    * 512mb RAM
    * 3.5gb of uncompressed hard disk space for game files
    * DVD-ROM (not required for downloaded installation)
    * Windows 2000/XP compatible system (including compatible 32-bit drivers for video card, sound card, mouse and keyboard)
    * DirectX(r) 9.0
    * 100% Compatible DirectX 9.0 soundcard
    * 56kbps Modem or other network connection

    The NP2096 should be able to run with any processor faster than 2.4 GHz at more then minimum details . At least theoretically.

    A piece of advice, open a new thread if you want to get answers to your questions, do not hijack other threads irrelevant to your problem.

    Well, if you're running 8xxx series GPUs, those may be dying earlier at a higher rate than would otherwise be expected due to the manufacturing issues that cropped up last year.
